It's pretty staggering that we've produced 87,600 hours of social justice and human rights focused radio in the ten years since WHIV-FM started. Wow! All thanks to dedicated volunteers creating original community-serving programs and to supporters like you!

WHIV is more than just a radio station - we're a community. For ten years we've been a home for folks who want to make a positive impact in their own communities here in New Orleans and beyond. In that decade we've had at least 120,000 listeners (and probably more!) who have been impacted by the hope and inspiration our programs bring them.

That hope and the space we provide to our community (both on the air and in-person) are more important than ever as we face the coming years of strengthening political oppression and a weakening mainstream media. Our plan is to keep dialing up the hope and inspiration that underpins our programming, and we can't do it without your support.

One program we're excited to launch in the coming year is a LGBTQ+ youth radio training program in partnership with the New Orleans Pride Center.
