One more day of spotty to numerous showers and storms during the midday Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will be a bit drier but hotter as we head into the 4th of July weekend.

Spotty rain chances through mid-week, then fewer showers Thursday through the weekend. Highs will be hot in the mid-upper 90s for the 4th holiday weekend. Rain chances are higher east of Biloxi into the Florida panhandle through Sunday.

Storm chances stay elevated through midweek when a front brings drier but hotter weather. Temperatures get to the mid 90s on Tuesday before rain and storms pop up in the late afternoon and early evening. Storms are likely again on Wednesday. We then start to heat up reaching near record highs in the upper 90s this weekend.

Hot today with lower rain chances, stormy pattern returns late week. A Heat Advisory is in effect until this evening as feels-like temperatures sit around 108 degrees. A few scattered showers are possible but better storm chances are back the rest of the week.
