A Heat Advisory is in effect with little relief from rain. Highs reach 96 degrees both Saturday and Sunday with heat index values up to 112 degrees. Sunday has a better chance of a few storms and showers helping to beat the heat. This week we get back to a more normal summer pattern. We are tracking Hurricane Erin north of the Caribbean that is now a powerful Category 4 storm. It is not expected to impact land as it recurves this week.
