Yesterday, members of WTUL got to visit the newly reopened New Orleans Jazz and Blues Market. The space is engineered to produce quality sound regardless of where you’re sitting, and had a fully stocked bar 🙂‍↕️ If you’re looking for somewhere to see authentic New Orleans energy, this is the place!

WTUL was so thrilled to host local artist for an exclusive on-air interview to discuss the production and release of his new album, Canal Street Revolution! Evan described the album, which is a fusion of brass band jazz and spoken word interviews with culture bearers and civil rights activists, as “classic New Orleans music”

And just like that 24 DJ weekend is done and concludes our 55th Annual Rock On Survival Marathon‼️ We are so sad for the festivities of Marathon to go, but we want to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated 💙 (& if you haven’t yet we are still accepting donations for another week!) We couldn’t keep doing this without y’all! We have exceeded our goal and hope you all had as much fun this marathon as we did :) And a huge thank you to all of our DJs who have spent so much time and effort these past 2 weeks AND before this planning all these awesome events. See you next year! (Or just tune back in like normal this afternoon ;) )
