🎉 Exciting News for New Paltz!

After many years of hard work, collaboration, and community advocacy, we’re proud to announce that Spectrum, the Town of New Paltz, and the Village of New Paltz have officially approved a new franchise agreement, bringing a major win for local media and community storytelling!

📺 New Paltz Public Access (NPZTV), Channel 23, will soon be revitalized and broadcast in high definition for the very first time. This is a huge step forward in sharing the voices, stories, and creativity of our amazing community.

In addition, the agreement includes $15,000 in donations from Spectrum to support three local nonprofits serving the New Paltz area, to be determined in the coming months. ❤️

We couldn’t have done this without the incredible support of our neighbors, volunteers, and local boards who helped guide this process. Thank you for believing in the power of community media!

Round 3 of the Plus One ADU Program

Round 3 of the Plus One ADU Program is now open to homeowners in all municipalities where the zoning permits ADUs. Grants of up to $112,500 are available to homeowners earning at or below area median income to construct an ADU if they agree to keep the rent affordable for 10 years and do not use the ADU as a short-term rental.
