On Borrowed Time: The Reinvention of a Lost Soul

Tune in Thursday Morning to hear Dennis and Tonny interview former New Rochelle resident and author, Anthony Williams III about his new book, On Borrowed Time.

**Thursday January 30th, 8:35AM www.wvox.com **

“On Borrowed Time: The Reinvention of a Lost Soul” provides readers with a way to reinvent themselves even while facing the darkest of days. Delving deep into the psyche of a child to the depths of a young man given less than 48 hours to live.

All he ever wanted was to follow his dreams distancing himself from the trauma of his childhood. Trying to escape the self-generated prison, his mind had created just like a game. In a first of its kind, this self-help memoir provides a roadmap for those unable to find peace of mind.

The journey from New York to California is only one of the unconventional paths taken. Freedom from the bondage of self was only one step in which he embarked. Years of masking pain inevitably led to the need for reinvention, overcoming unfathomable obstacles just to stay alive.

From attempted suicide to the joys of fatherhood, this book takes the reader on the ride of their life. Never before has a story been told from this perspective, allowing readers to insert their stories as a template for their own reinvention.

Being the judge, jury, and executioner of your own mind leads you into a path of darkness. “On Borrowed Time” provides the spark needed to invent a long-lasting light.

Good Moooorrrrrning New Rochelle and hi to Bill from Bill in Galway. Our Dad was a good friend of yours and I still remember your grand entrances to First Westchester National Bank back when. My latest song "All One Together" a Covid-19 song video is now released on You Tube and the tune will soon be available for downloading on about 40 media sites both domestic and international. The song is dedicated to all the Healthcare workers ( Judy, my wife, is one), pharmacies, food suppliers and frontline staff who risk their lives daily to help protect us. The ending chorus includes singer/songwriter family/friends , some of whom are past/present healthcare workers (Judy is one ) and some top recording artists like : Padraig Stevens, Leo Moran (The Saw Doctors), Wendy May...…. Take a listen if you get a chance and hope you enjoy it. Stay safe and continue keeping the Community informed. Thanks and God Bless , Bill Geoghegan
Great story this morning on the book The Last Goodbye
I have to go to Yonkers every Monday morning thru Thursday and I listen to Dennis and Miss Tawney. So I just want to say thank you for making my day. My friend said he has seen me in the morning at 7 15 with a smile on my face and he figures I 'am listening to someone that makes me smile. Thank you for making my day. 🤪🤪
Would appreciate if you can share with your listeners
Interesting conversation with Cosimo de'Pazzi: Florence, 4/26/1478 de'Pazzi conspiracy that got Giuliano de'Medici killed in a plot concocted by the Guelfi faction and pope Sisto IV. History would have changed its course and Sack of Prato, in which most of 7000 of its citizens were massacred, avoided. In fact the replaced Medici pope wanted revenge and let the mercenaries satisfy themselves by entering the nearby town, not the Republic. Renaissance or slaughter of the innocents?, that's the question for their legacy.
Senator Jack Reed of Rhode Island, the ranking member of the Armed Services Committee was a guest on WVOX Monday March 18th, speaking on the Sons of the American Legion Radio Report. The Senator discussed what he learned as a cadet at West Point, and as an Army Officer, value of ROTC programs, taking care of veterans through the new Mission Act, preventing veterans suicide, value of NATO, and the responsibility of "Command" to insure military families have proper housing and all who serve have opportunity without abuse. Many thanks to Sen. Reed and his office for preparing this video version of the interview with show host, Ken Kraetzer.

For WVOX Radio Morning Show listeners, glad to be on with Bob Marrone shortly to discuss my new book of 100 milestones in humanity's weather and climate learning journey, from Groundhog Day to the climate treaty talks, from the invention of air conditioning (1902) to geo-engineering the climate (decades from now, if ever), from Russia's most powerful ally in war - WINTER - to Japan turning the jet stream into a weapon in World War II, sending incendiary bombs to America. The Washington Post gave the book a great review yesterday: http://j.mp/weather100review
