Hello everyone! HAPPY SUMMER☀️

Our last issue of Volume 3 was distributed this week. It has been another great year of The Warhawk Newspaper!

Inside this last issue there will be a subscription form for next year - you can fill this from out and send it via mail to the address listed! Please consider subscribing, you won’t regret it.

Also a BIG thank you to our seniors on our committee this year! They helped The Warhawk grow and brought us all together. We will miss their hard work and continued commitment!

Don’t miss this talented group perform Sister Act Jr. on March 17th and 18th at 6:30 pm. Admission cost is $5 per person ages 11+ and $3 per child ages 10 and under. These kids and their musical are second to “nun”! 😉🎵

Congratulations to our very own member, Kei, on advancing to State Speech on March 11th in North Scott! Expect an article in a future issue about Kei’s success and how he qualified. Proud of you Kei!

Congratulations to Kei Arthur (and Speech Coach, Ms. Rachel Martin) for receiving a Division 1 rating on his poetry piece called “The Last Rose of Summer” at District Speech this past weekend in Marshalltown. Kei read two poems by the Irish writer Thomas Moore. The Division I rating means that Kei is advancing to the State Speech Contest on Saturday, March 11 at North Scott. Way to go, Kei!!!!!

Today (December 20th, 2022) we delivered our LAST issue until after our Christmas break! ❄️

Our next issue will be published on January 23rd. Committee members will use this break to spend time with their family and friends. With that being said, we wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎄🎉

Hello, Warhawk fans!

The 2022-23 North Mahaska High School yearbook is now on sale! The yearbook staff is already hard at work on creating, editing, and proofing the yearbook. Making an exceptional yearbook takes a lot of time and work for all who are involved. This yearbook is going to be the best one yet. Don’t worry about you/your son or daughter not being in the yearbook. Every NM 7th-12th grader will be in the yearbook at least three times!

The yearbook is $48.00 until October 30th. After October 30th, the price will go up to $50.00. Please consider buying a yearbook ASAP!
