Cayden was one of just 20 finalists who competed in Washington, D. C. Good job, Cayden!

Hi there!
I wanted to share with you that we had 3 students win awards today for the Warhawk Magazine! I submitted them to the Iowa High School Press Association State Spring Contest.

1. Claire Nelson won 1st place in the category "personality profile" for her article on Konner Guyer.
2. Elise Westercamp won 1st place in "Illustration or Art" for her depiction of Kendrick Lamar.
3. Lacey Campbell won 3rd place for "Newspaper Multiple Page Design" for her pages on the Football team and their connections.

I am so proud of these ladies and their accomplishments and it takes a whole team to win awards! I attached the winning pages below if you want to see!
