⚠️SHARK BITE!!!⚠️
So, if anyone was at New Smyrna Beach Inlet on Monday (9/26/22) you would have definietly noticed the ocean come alive!! The mullet were running in huge schools (bait balls) and all kinds of predators were feasting.
I was lucky to document the day for you all in a short vlog and even had a chance to speak with Everett, who was bitten on the foot by a shark while surfing.

THROWBACK! I found this photo not to long ago and it was instant nostalgia! This picture was shot back in the late 80's (89ish). This was my very 1st surfboard a 5' 4" quad fin Rip Curl Aggrolite (Tuned for Tubes)😆. A Lil grom (Joey) Sportin' my 1st Rip Curl spring suit with my 1st Shark Watch while waxing my board with Bubble Gum Surf Wax (an old school favorite).
Shout out to my mom for always driving me to almost everyday single day so I could play in the waves and shoutout to Jimmy-Z for being a big bro and teaching me how to surf!

Saw some fisherman dude catch this baby BONNETHEAD shark from the shore, reel it in, unhook it and toss it on the dry sand and kicked it away to the side where it flopped around while the fisher proceeded to setting up his hook for another cast, disregarding the baby shark.
I strolled over and proceeded to communicate a verbal tongue lashing to the guy while his cigarette dangling from his lower lip about his methods of fishing, all he said was, “It’s just a shark”. I agreed, picked the little Bonnet, carried it back into the water where we both continued our lives in the waves 🌊..
