Don’t let the name fool ya (grab and go made us think it was basically a little take-out cafe)…BUT there’s plenty of seating! Diverse menu, food was delicious, owners are super, and the cafe decor is spot on! We will definitely be back!

This just might be the Best Burger in NSB. Meet the River Decker topped with ham, bacon, provolone, onion straws and more. And, always cooked to a perfect temperature. NSB has some other great burgers. What’s your favorite? River Deck NSB

This place is a hidden gem in NSB! (almost literally)

Wow! Our first visit to Rogue Wave Wine Bar was fantastic! The wine bar has a great wine menu (plus excellent beer choices). The vibe is incredibly comfortable both inside and out and the service was excellent, but that wasn’t the best part…

Their small plates? Oh my! They were amazing. We tried four dishes and each one was just about perfect: distinctive, creative and delicious (and a nice serving size).

We will be back soon. FYI - They are near the North Causeway in the same parking area as Island Roasters.

If you’ve been to Rogue Wave, what was your highlight? Jackie loved the Whipped Feta and Bob couldn’t get enough of the Tuna Crostini.

PS - While we were there, we spoke to Nate, one of the owners, about the distinctive name and he shared the backstory. It’s interesting and there’s a wall covered with related info near the bar. Check it out.

Our neighborhood gym had an open house last night. Nice chance to mingle with the awesome staff and other like-minded people. Thank you Nautilus NSB for the fun evening, the Philly Pizza, Shark Attack IPA, the massages and the awesome music from Jordan Redding!

A calm, peaceful day in New Smyrna Beach as the kids and teachers return to school. This is the true quiet season in NSB and it’s off to a wonderful start.

Enjoyed our first visit to Luma on Flagler Ave. Nice place to chill and listen to some smooth music, on this night via local musician Jordan Redding. Love the comfortable seating areas, music and drink choices… the tacky realtor billboard can go, though. 😥
