BOY CUTS THE ELECTRICITY TO UNITE HIS FAMILY & ACCIDENTALLY FINDS A FRIGHTENING TRUTH ABOUT HIS PARENTS
Alone, Kevin retreated to his room. He sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the toy soldiers scattered on the floor. His mind wandered as he pieced everything together.
His family was so wrapped up in their own worldsโhis brother Jake glued to his phone, his father lost in work, and his mother crying behind closed doors.
The more Kevin thought about it, the more convinced he became that technology was tearing his family apart.
Determined, Kevin stood outside, staring at the electricity service panel. His mind raced back to when his father had shown him how to turn off the main breaker during a storm.
He took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his decision. This is for the greater good, he thought. With one swift motion, Kevin flipped the switch, cutting off the electricity.
Surprisingly, his idea worked. The whole family gathered to play board games. Kevin was overjoyed as he ran to his room to grab his favorite game. But on the way, he noticed that his mother's bedroom door was open.
Since everyone was downstairs, he decided to take a look. What he saw made Kevin realize that his parents were hiding a terrible truth from him.๐
