“We Are Still Here”
Beneath the sun of amber gold,
Where silent winds speak truths untold,
A warrior stands, tall and proud,
His spirit fierce, his voice unbowed.
On buffalo’s back, with feather high,
He greets the stars, he greets the sky.
The mountains echo loud and clear:
“We are still strong. We’re still right here.”
Through stolen lands and broken years,
Through fire, loss, and ancient tears,
Their stories breathe in rock and tree,
A living song of ancestry.
They could not kill what roots the soul,
The fire they feared, the heart they stole.
Still beats the drum, still flows the flame—
This land remembers every name.
So raise your voice, and do not grieve,
We will not fall. We will not leave.
For every dawn and dusk declare:
“We are still strong. We are still here.”
