Researchers have successfully addressed brain aneurysms in rabbits by utilizing magnetically guided nanobots, each measuring just 295nm in width—smaller than bacteria. These bots accurately delivered clotting agents to the target aneurysm locations, creating stable seals that lasted more than two weeks without the need for surgical intervention. This significant advancement, reported in Science Robotics, highlights the promise of less invasive neurovascular therapies that may eventually take the place of hazardous implants and intricate procedures in human patients.
