Why does this keep happening to me..?
I work old home renovations, so often there’s a lot of wonkiness in the drywall seams, not coplanar etc… I run my tape, pull it and it wrinkles. Why does it wrinkle? How can I avoid it? Then once i let the tape dry completely, I run my first topcoat and it bubbles… it’s so frustrating. What am I doing wrong..?

I'm losing my mind. I called a handyman to fix this one small hole. He had the nerve to quote me $600! For what?! A $20 patch kit from Home Depot? He's trying to tell me he has to 'cut a new square,' 're-tape the seams,' and 'paint the entire wall' to blend it. What a joke! Does he really think I'm that dumb?! He's just trying to scam me into paying for a full day's work for a 30-minute job...

Is this acceptable? I took on the challenge of drywalling my basement to save some money, so this is DIY. Before I continue the work I just want to make sure this is acceptable? I will be getting a professional to tape, mud and finish. Before starting I did a lot of research. Made sure there is essentially no butt-butt connections unless unavoidable. My ceiling screws are

Is this ever close to acceptable? My wife said she doesn’t mind it - but I’m not sure I’ll get over it and I’m not sure how mi CB it makes a difference to the eyes.

Just paid a contractor and he said this is the finished project.. how bad did he do 1 to 10 He said hes all done.. is it just me or does it look awful with the siding work Client don’t like it. I waited almost two months total for a mosaic to be selected and to get it in. Designer ordered a third of what I needed so that contributed.

Tiles comes in. Boxes say made in china. And that disputes will not be honored after installation. Tile kinda sucks. The pieces are different thicknesses. The spacing is not good. Spent a lot of time cutting pieces off the sheets and sliding them around. At this point I want to get it the f**k done bc it’s a labor hole. Maybe where I went wrong is suggesting a beige grout to make it pop bc there are pits and scratches in the sh*tty Chinese quartz that didn’t show up until grout.
Well the client doesn’t like that. She says it looks dirty and wants all the pitted and hairline scratch tiles replaced. And there is in no way a small amount of money being withheld from me on a job where I’ve sunk a lot of time and money into. It was a painstaking bathroom remodel.
I told the client to blue tape all of them she doesn’t like and talk to the designer about remediation to see if there will be any grace awarded to me.
What do yall think? Does it look bad?
