This rolled flooring was “new old stock” still rolled up in its cardboard tube at an estate sale. We bought it because I wanted to try and used it in my gardening shed. We had to let it heat up in the sun on the driveway and slowly unroll it as it warmed up and became somewhat pliable. Makes me happy just to look at it!

I was hesitant to share this photo, because part of me is not proud of not being able to offer a bigger space for my children. But at the same time, I'm so happy with what I was able to build them with my own hands (and a little help from DIY friends on an app).

In our small house, every square meter counts. So, I transformed this little corner into a bunk bed for my two little treasures. Now they have more room to play, laugh and grow.

Sometimes it's not the size of the space that matters, but all the love you put into it. And seeing their eyes light up when they discovered their ‘new room’ reminded me that the small victories of everyday life are often the biggest.

If you're like me, with little space but lots of love to give, I hope this can inspire you to create something beautiful with what you have. Because in the end, what matters is not the size of the house... but the warmth that reigns there.

I’m convinced her way uses way more energy.
It hasn’t yet led to an argument, but I’m convinced I’m right.

Recently spent 3 months building this stone retaining wall, 24 tons of stone, uncountable barrows of mortar, 50 metres long (164 freedom fractions), majorly over-engineered drainage behind. Like a giant 3D jigsaw puzzle with very heavy pieces that all look the same.

May be the most dull thing I've ever done.

When it is hot as blue blazes 🔥 outside it's nice to piddle around the house! A kitchen towel drawer is a good place to tidy up and get those towels rolled! This keeps me from using the top two towels in a stack! 🥰
