Tormenta is a multi-disciplinary artist from the US-Mexico border of South Texas. Tormenta creates mixes that amplify vibrant rhythms and dissident voices from across Anahuac, Abya Yala and the ‘Global South’, emphasizing intersections between Afro-diasporic and Indigenous sounds of today as rich, cross-cultural expressions of resistance. She is an 8 Ball Radio resident and co-host of .fm aired monthly. Tormenta is co-founder of Casa Gaza an autonomous neighborhood collective supporting Palestinian families through mutual-aid.

Felipe Quiroz, AKA Prince of Queens, is a Colombian-born, NYC-raised producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist blending the city’s trans-Caribbean energy into a fresh sonic identity. His sound fuses deep house and techno with tropical disco, cumbia, and merengue — a unique take on underground dance music through the lens of a Colombian immigrant.

A New York native, La Duni blends a range of sounds as dynamic as the city she’s from including, but not limited to, Dembow, Kuduro, Footwork, and more.

sola system is a Nigerian Brooklyn-based DJ with a penchant for black diasporic sound. Raised between three continents, borders and genres aren’t boundaries when sola system weaves sonic tapestries - from global club and bad bitch rap to percussive bass and shimmery house, sola system’s goal is to make you move. sola system is driven by a desire to connect QTPOC communities through music. sola system is a co-founder of ABEG NYC, a collective by and for q***r Africans, and SLICK DOWN, a collective focused on electronic music’s roots in black culture. they are a resident on 8 Ball Radio and host their party HYPNOSIS quarterly.
