Hi. I have a 42" LG TV with no Audio Output Port ( except the TV's Speakers ) & No Optical Connection. My CBL/SAT is connected to Bose SoundTouch520 System, which in turn, is connected to the TV thru HDMI and all works Fine. Now Comes in the ChromeCast Ultra. Since my TV Has only one HDMI connection, I bought a HDMI X 4 Switch to connect the ChromeCast and SoundTouch . The Hometheatre works find from TV but the Casting through the Chrome by Mobile / PC does not send the Sound through SoundTouch Home Theater. The Audio out put is only through TV Speakers. How can I get the ChromeCast played on TV to send Audio through SoundTouch Home Theater System ? Please advice .

Hi, I need help. I'm not exactly sure how to word this, but here goes. I have a Panasonic overhead projector, a DirecTV wireless genie, a DVD player, and an HAI home speaker system. All of the audio hookups are on the wall where the screen and DVD player are. The projector and genie are on the opposite wall. I have component video cables connected to DVD and projector and rca left/right from DVD to HAI wall plug for sound, which combines two cables into one plug like headphones plug into. I'm you know how HAI systems work. I also have the hdmi hooked up to projector and genie for video. OK, I think that sets up the situation for you. Here is the problem and question. Sound and video work fine when using DVD . No sound with genie, obviously because not hooked up. I can move genie near DVD if needed but how would I get sound to it? The genie has HDMI, digital audio, USB, and s-video. The DVD has component, digital coax out, s-video and RCA's. Remember they are on opposite sides of the room, but can be together if needed. I just don't know how to hook up sound from the genie to the HAI speaker system. Is there some type of connector or adapter plug that will allow me to go from the genie into the DVD player and run the sound through the DVD player? Oh, by the way if it helps , I do have a Roku that I could use somehow as well. Have no idea how to Loop it in though. Please help I'm clueless.
Hi there I saw your name on some posts about connecting TV components and what not to your receiver in order to get surroundsound. Is it OK if I post a question here or is this not a good place? Thank you!
