Helen Kleeb — beloved as Miss Mamie Baldwin 💛

She played Miss Mamie across the entire original run of *The Waltons* and **returned for every single reunion movie** right through the final special in 1997 — carrying that gentle, warm-hearted character for 25 wonderful years ✨ She once shared:

> "Mamie felt like someone I’d known all my life — simple, steady, true." 🕰️

Did you love the Baldwin sisters and their famous "recipe" on Walton's Mountain?

Ellen Corby was the **only adult actor** from the original *The Homecoming* pilot to carry her role straight through to the series — Grandma Esther Walton was hers from the very beginning 💛 She shared:

> "I never wanted to play anyone else — she felt like family." ✨

She also fought her way back after a stroke, returning to the show so Grandma could recover alongside her — real courage meeting heartfelt storytelling.

Do you still think of her as the heart of Walton's Mountain?
