This might just be America’s most beloved suspect right now.

The person of interest in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has just been identified as Luigi Mangione.

And his background has people shocked because...

- He’s an Ivy League graduate
- He’s only 26 years old
- He was the valedictorian of his graduating class in high school
- He also comes from a well-known and wealthy family

So what happened that could have driven him to commit such a serious crime?

The Associated Press also reports that he has written critical pieces of the healthcare industry. He also gave “The Unabomber Manifesto” a 4-star review on his Goodreads account.

So it’s entirely possible that he was personally FAILED by a broken system and that drove him to do EXTREME things.

And we haven’t even talked about how people on social media are now making memes about him because he happens to be handsome!
