🇳🇵 A commendable step from Nepal’s Cabinet!

Prime Minister Balendra Shah and all Cabinet ministers have decided to donate one month’s salary to the Prime Minister’s Disa'ster Relief Fund to support those affected by the deva'stating flo'ods.

Nepal currently has 17 Cabinet members, including the Prime Minister. Based on the reported monthly remuneration, their combined one-month pay comes to around Rs 13.62 lakh — meaning more than Rs 13 lakh could go directly toward floo'd relief. 🇳🇵❤️

The Cabinet has also directed the Finance Ministry to prepare a relief, concessional support and rehab'ilitation package for affected individuals and businesses.

At a time when thousands of families need support, every contribution matters. 🙏

Nepal’s hydropower sector has suf'fered another major set'back as devas'tating fl'oods hit the Rasuwa–Trishuli corridor. 🌊⚡

According to IPPAN Chairman Mohan Kumar Dangi, 13 hydropower projects with a combined capacity of around 675 MW have suf'fered dam'age in the flo'od. The affec'ted projects include both operating and under-construction plants, meaning the impact could extend beyond immediate power generation to ongoing construction, infrastructure and future electricity production.

The Rasuwa–Trishuli corridor is one of Nepal’s key hydropower hubs, so the scale of the da'mage raises concer'ns about repair costs, del'ays in new projects and the reliability of cr'itical hydropower infrastructure.

A natural disa'ster has once again highlighted a major question for Nepal: Are our billion-rupee hydropower projects adequately prepared for increasingly destr'uctive flo'ods? 🇳🇵

Casemiro arrived at Inter Miami with the reputation of a midfield warrior… but so far, the team’s results are giving a slightly different storyline. 😂

With 3 losses, 2 draws and just 2 wins in 7 matches since his arrival, Inter Miami fans might be wondering: Did they sign Casemiro, or accidentally activate the “no-win” DLC? 💀⚽

One thing is certain — the Brazilian has brought experience, but Miami still needs the results. 👀

Who else? 😂 Cristiano Ronaldo is back in Saudi, comes off the bench, scores a goal, and celebrates like he just won the World Cup! 🐪⚽😭

The 41-year-old needed just 20 minutes to get on the scoresheet as Al Nassr cruised to a 4–0 win over Al Riyadh. 🔥

Back in Saudi, back among the goals… and apparently, the happiness is still unlimited! 😂❤️
