Angelo’s Pizzeria 🍕🔥 since 1950 has recently reopened and Flatbush loves it. I had to come check out the old school Brooklyn style pizza. The regular slice is outstanding , make sure to try their jumbo garlic knots, fresh and smothered in garlic oil, as well as their vodka grandma with a fantastic crunch and a thick layer of mozzarella.

Brooklyn Baby | Ep 9 Falafel Tanami

I wanted one episode in the Brooklyn series to feature falafel, which in many ways represents how I like to eat. A sandwich that packs bold flavors, fresh crunchy ingredients, and is meant to be eaten casually. Brooklyn Baby | Ep 8 Taci’s Beyti

I absolutely love Turkish food and had to include it in my Brooklyn series. So for episode 8, I’m sharing my favorite Turkish restaurant, Taci’s Beyti. Their mixed grill is one of my all time favorite dishes. An assortment of juicy grilled lamb meats; the fat drips on to the fries and … this is a special place.

Brooklyn Baby | Ep 7 Mill Basin Deli

For episode 7 I’m going to the only kosher deli left in south Brooklyn, Mill Basin Deli. Growing up, going to Adelman’s Kosher Deli was one of my favorite things. Eating pastrami surrounded by sports memorabilia brought me so much comfort and joy. I’ve missed it ever since. Pastrami holds a special place in my heart.
