KC and the Sunshine Band, founded in 1973 in Hialeah, Florida, is famous for hits like Get Down Tonight, That's the Way (I Like It), and Shake Your B***y. Named after lead vocalist Harry Wayne Casey (KC) and Florida (Sunshine State), they had five number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 in the 1970s.❤️🖤🎼📀🎵

Formed by KC and Richard Finch, the band included guitarist Jerome Smith and drummer Robert Johnson. Their early hits Blow Your Whistle and Sound Your Funky Horn led to the creation of Rock Your Baby, a massive hit. Their second album in 1975 brought major success with Get Down Tonight and That's the Way (I Like It), earning them Grammy recognition. Subsequent hits included I'm Your Boogie Man and Keep It Comin' Love.

The band's popularity waned with the decline of disco, leading to label changes and exploring new styles. Despite challenges, Give It Up in 1983 marked a brief return to success. KC retired around 1984 but revived the band in 1991, releasing new material and touring. Their 1993 album Oh Yeah! marked a comeback after a decade-long break.

The Jackson 5, later known as the Jacksons, is an American pop band formed in 1964 in Gary, Indiana, featuring brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael. Managed by their father Joe Jackson, they began performing in talent shows and clubs before signing with Steeltown Records in 1967, releasing two singles. In 1968, they signed with Motown and made history with four consecutive number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart: I Want You Back, ABC, The Love You Save, and I'll Be There.👑🖤🔥🎶🎙️

They achieved 17 Top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 in five years and six number-one Billboard R&B hits. In 1976, they moved to Epic Records, except Jermaine, who was replaced by their youngest brother Randy, and became the Jacksons. They released successful albums like Destiny (1978) and Triumph (1980), featuring hits such as Enjoy Yourself, Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground), and Can You Feel It.

The Jacksons have sold up to 150 million records worldwide. They received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1980 and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. Their songs ABC and I Want You Back are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll and the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Silk is an American R&B group formed in 1989 in Atlanta, Georgia, best known for their 1993 hit single Freak Me, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100. Discovered by Keith Sweat, the original lineup included Timothy Timzo Cameron, James Jimmy Gates Jr., Johnathen John John Rasboro, and Gary Big G Glenn, with Gary Lil G Jenkins joining later.🎶💯🖤

Their debut album Lose Control featured hits like Freak Me and Happy Days, achieving double platinum status. They won Album of the Year at the Soul Train Music Awards in 1994. Silk has produced several successful singles and albums, including Silktime (2003) and Quiet Storm (2016).🥇

After a hiatus, they reunited in 2016. In 2018, Silk celebrated 25 years in the music industry and were featured on the TV series Unsung.
