I'm not a concrete guy, I had a slab poured yesterday and I had some questions. I understand concrete cracks over time, but is it normal within 24 hours? Slab was finished with a power trowel machine and broom finished. It's very unlevel and has fairly significant waves as far as height. It's a 4000psi mix with fiber and has a rebar bed laid on plastic with 12 inch footers. It's already laid so I guess it is what it is. Paid $8 a sqft so it was one of the cheaper bids I got due to the guy letting me do a large portion of the dirt work. Not trying to call the guy out, just curious on what went wrong.
