3 bags check in at the same place same time…sounds like the beginning of a joke 🤣 Somehow only 2 actually made it on the flight and the other apparently needed space and decided on a later departure LOL

There’s no bigger sign that vacation is indeed over wah wah wah

Supposedly the bag is on a flight that gets in at 9pm 👀 How long do we think it’ll take to get delivered to our house?

Needless to say being trapped in an elevator or walking up 24 flights of stairs don’t exactly reflect the luxury experience I’m paying for.

When a delayed flight leads to finding a culinary gem 😍

From start to finish this meal was 5 stars! We started with our usual mocktails both of which were refreshing and tasty. From there we moved onto the appetizers (Miso Soup, Takato Salad, Duck Bao Buns & Spicy Edamame) 🤤

Up next the main course 🤩 We had the Kimchi Fried Rice & the Wagyu Skirt Steak; pro tip from our waitress Yuyu save the Salad Bowl to dip your steak in the salad dressing.

To finish, we opted for the Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsu and there are no words for how AMAZING it was. Even know we’re still dreaming about this amazing meal.

If you’re in Fort Lauderdale, do yourself a favor and get to Takato. You won’t be disappointed.

We’d been eyeing Pirate Republic Seafood Restaurant for a while (years) and finally, we made it and it did not disappoint! Truly a seafood lovers dream. 😍

The atmosphere coupled with the outdoor riverside seating is 👌

We started with mocktails (my millennial chains will never free me from the boomerang and tbh that’s not a freedom I desire 🤭🤣) and appetizers (Garlic Spice Shrimp &Raw Oysters). Already a strong start but it wouldn’t be us without sampling pretty much EVERYTHING…enter Snapper Three Tower. So sooo good. It truly had any and everything you could want; fish, shrimp, lobster, salad, and sides! Not only was everything we ate mouthwatering good, the portions were also more than generous.

Great service, great food, and great atmosphere = recipe for a fabulous date night.

Date night Skirt Steak 😋

They have a pre fixe menu that includes salad, steak, and fries for $48pp. We also opted for the garlic bread and zucchini which did not disappoint…if you know us, you know we like to try it all 🤭

We also enjoyed their mocktails which were a nice and refreshing surprise.

If you’re in the city and looking for a tasty filling date night with great ambiance, this is the spot for you!
