Day 102 of Cleaning New York: this was a fun project! Learning about these plants inspired me to study how plants can improve our health and well-being. I’m so excited to finish our plant laboratory to learn about native plants together! Somehow, it seems that litter, gardening, and community can all connect. Follow and share to support this mission

Day 98 of Cleaning New York:

Please share this post with a local business or a friend that could use this advice!

This block has bad litter and bad soil, but I’m testing whether sudden beautification can help Frank and other businesses survive and serve the community. Littering fines for dirty sidewalks can apply whenever trash is found, even when the litter appears after Frank has cleaned his area at 11PM. Research shows that beautification should lower littering rates, but let’s put that to the test.

We’re working on our plant supply, teamwork, and educational materials to help you do the same thing. Stay tuned for Day 100!

David’s farm is growing well in its first season! Just kidding. But it does take me a full hour to water our plants. Thank you for the opportunity to transform this block and provide them with a beautiful and calming space. Let’s see if we can keep it clean

Hello New York! One of my least favorite spots has now become a favorite. Next time you visit Times Square, show your appreciation for the workers who keep the space clean.

Day 91 of Cleaning New York: to celebrate Hip-Hop Day, and I planted a garden outside my local barbershop on 173rd and Broadway.
