Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA don rescue 31 kidnapped victims across Katsina and Kebbi during separate operations carried out on September 14 and 15. Ten victims were rescued in Funtua, while another 21 were rescued around Fafala and Dandikwa in Kebbi.

The military also reported that two terrorists were neutralised in Katsina, including Abbah Alhassan, whom it identified as a terrorist kingpin. Two other suspected terrorists were arrested around Yantumaki, with preliminary interrogation reportedly linking them to another suspected kingpin known as Mannori.
