Watch this full transformation from an empty shipping container into a hidden luxury underground room concealed beneath a backyard koi pond.

This satisfying build shows the complete container conversion process - installing the wooden floor foundation, placing deep green insulation panels, building the structural framing, installing plywood floor panels, finishing the interior with Japanese clay plaster walls, and constructing a large glass ceiling window that allows you to see the pond water and lily pads above.

The interior is then transformed into a luxury underground living space featuring a minimalist oak kitchen with floating shelves and LED lighting, a cozy lounge area with sofa and coffee table, and a floating desk office workspace. The floor is finished with a stunning river-stone epoxy design that reflects the moving light from the pond above.

The final result is a fully functional underground container lounge with koi fish swimming above the glass ceiling - all built inside a hidden shipping container space accessed through a concealed lawn hatch next to the pond.
