SASA is the project of Brooklyn based DJ/Producer, Stereo 77.
Trading his usual style of heavy Afro-Caribbean inspired beats & breaks, for a minimal, and vividly romantic sound inspired by a love for the flamenco and guitar-driven fusion jazz of the 70s, and ambient compositions - mixed with personal field recordings from various cities, and a variety of live instrumentation.

Filtered Deluxe Recordings proudly presents the self-titled debut from cofounder of Auditors Domination and Funkin Basstards, KNOWONE.

Yannis aka KNOWONE is a bassist, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer since 2005, and has performed and recorded with Cayetano, Soulbox, Long Live, and more - including opening for Thievery Corporation at the Moni Lazariston in Thessaloniki, Greece under the Auditors Domination project.

This time around, KNOWONE takes the reins offering a deeply personal collection inspired by the
“bitter moments of my life that are deeply engraved in my soul”.
Every song based on people and places,
interpreted through a cinematic and abstract downtempo sound, with hints of trip-hop, folktronica, and live instrumentation.

This is an album that is equally appreciated in the comfort of a home, between your headphones, or on a long drive. Nevertheless, you’ll find yourself returning to these songs many times after the first listen.

KNOWONE is you, me, and everybody that composes the soundtrack of our lives.

James Hayford returns to Filtered Deluxe with a colorfully chilled-out summer track for your listening pleasure.

'Flower Of Thy Womb' draws inspiration from classic downtempo tunes like 'A Zed and Two L's' by Fila Brazillia, and DJ Shadow's 'Na**lm Brain/ Scatter Brain' - which play with laid-back beats that build to a double-time crescendo.
With layers of deep and dubby atmosphere, built from chopped-up Ethio jazz, and a slinky half-time beat, 'Flower Of Thy Womb' blossoms into a garden of breakbeats, exploding with clattering snares, and psychedelic textures.

For the remix treatment, James has recruited the legendary BiggaBush to reimagine the track into a cavernous dub stomper, building tension slowly as it releases into another crash of breakbeats.
