How do you record engaging Voice-over for your video content or Podcast?

Here are a number of points I try to keep in mind:

✅ Enunciate: Speak with clarity for your audience to understand your message.

✅ Project: Speak from your diaphragm for a strong and confident voice.

✅ Hydrate (Bonus): Hydrate and moisturise your vocal cords with water so that your voice stays healthy.

Reassess
Look back at your videos and reassess the videos that either:

🌟 Helped build awareness about your brand,
💰 Helped you make that sale
🧘🏽 Fulfilled your creative genius soul

Sometimes the videos you spend a long time creating, don't get much love from the algorithm.

I've posted videos that I had so much fun creating but when I shared them, they didn't do as well as I had hoped. It wasn't ideal but it's okay.

1. Practice Talking About Your Passion

🤳🏾Film something, even if it’s on your phone. Pick a topic and film yourself talking about that topic. Talk to your phone, be passionate like no one is watching. 👀

2. Self Compassion.

🧘🏾‍♀️Beware of self-criticism & perfectionism, these haters end crash your excitement even before you get started.

Plus, if you’re having a challenge with anything being too hard on yourself may cause further increased frustration….😮‍💨 Take care of yourself!

3. Share Your Genius.

🤫 Okay, I’ll need you to come close, let me tell you a secret. Your first few attempts may not be the best, kind of like a child taking their first step. 😩

😎 And that’s okay. A good way to look at it is that we all suck at something. So, expect some setbacks, consider their feedback for where you need to grow.
