Wiz Khalifa has reportedly been sentenced to nine months in prison in Romania following a July 2024 arrest for drug possession after he smoked ma*****na onstage during a performance at the Beach Please! Festival in Costinesti. The rapper, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, was found with more than 18 grams of cannabis and was convicted by the Constanta Court of Appeal for possession of dangerous drugs for personal use, overturning an earlier fine and ruling that the sentence be served in custody. According to court statements cited by international media, the judge argued that Khalifa’s highly public conduct amplified the social danger of the offense by normalizing illegal drug use, particularly among young people. It remains unclear whether Romanian authorities will seek extradition, and representatives for the U.S. artist have not yet commented, though Khalifa did apologize publicly after the arrest, saying he meant no disrespect to Romania and joking that he’d return “without a big a*s joint next time.”

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Miley playfully flashed her ring and teased that fiancé Maxx Morando snagged it as a “Black Friday deal, baby.” 😆

She quickly clarified she was kidding… but admitted Maxx is “smart that way.”

The couple, who first connected on a blind date back in 2021, confirmed their engagement this week after Miley hit the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere with a sparkling diamond on her finger.

Miley later shared on Good Morning America that Maxx proposed during their trip to Asia — and that the famously in-control superstar was genuinely surprised.

Ed Sheeran is setting the record straight — and proving that some friendships don’t need constant texts to stay strong.
In a new Access Hollywood interview, Sheeran shared that he learned about Taylor Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce the same way the rest of the world did: through Instagram. Why? Because the man hasn’t owned a cell phone in 10 years.
But there’s zero drama between the longtime friends.
“We’ve been friends for years… I’m not self-conscious about my relationship with her,” Sheeran said.
Instead of a missed text, the two caught up the old-fashioned way — in person — for a four-hour chat about life, not headlines. Their friendship goes all the way back to 2012, when Sheeran opened on Swift’s Red Tour, and he says that whenever they reunite, they “lock back into where they left off.”
Swift even joked recently about forgetting to call him with the big news — because, well, he doesn’t have a phone.
“He’s like family. I love him,” she said.
Sheeran later hopped into her TikTok clip to confirm the whole thing:
“Hello from my allotted iPad time, this is factual.”
And now?
He’s ditched the iPad too.
“I’m not on anything anymore,” he laughed.

Fugees member Pras Michel has been handed a 14-year prison sentence after being convicted on multiple foreign influence and conspiracy charges.

Michel — known for his groundbreaking work alongside Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean — was found guilty in 2023 for allegedly orchestrating a secret “foreign influence campaign” involving fugitive Malaysian financier Jho Low. He was also previously ordered to forfeit $64 million tied to the scheme.

His spokeswoman shared a statement saying he’s “grateful for the continued support” of those standing by him as he prepares for the next chapter.

The case, which even included testimony from Leonardo DiCaprio, centered on accusations that Michel funneled foreign money into U.S. political campaigns and attempted to sway investigations and extraditions on behalf of foreign interests.

A major fall from grace for an artist whose group helped define 90s hip-hop with classics like “Killing Me Softly” and “Fu-Gee-La.”
