The Chicano rapper Jose Martin, aka “Conejo” (“Rabbit”), evaded U.S. authorities for almost 14 years while continuing to put out gangster-themed songs and videos.

To his fans, Conejo is known for his label, Felony Case Records, his clothing line and framed photos of himself, but to L.A. police detectives and the FBI he was a suspect in the 2001 murder of 25-year-old Mario Eduardo Gutierrez.

Today we commemorate the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and pay homage to these three servicemen.

A number of Hispanic serviceman were caught up in the events of that day which will live in infamy, including Ensign Manuel Gonzalez, Electrician's Mate 3rd Class Ray Martinez and Seaman 1st Class Ray Chavez.

Judge Elena Cassiani did not appear for the scheduled hearing at which she was supposed to rule on whether to dismiss the charges against Holt. A new date was set for January.

Holt is being held in a prison in Caracas run by Venezuela's intelligence police.

Sunday an arrest was made in the brutal murder of Lee Manuel Viloria-Paulino, 16, whose decapitated body was found Thursday after he was missing nearly three weeks since Nov. 18.

A ghastly murder has shocked the northern Massachusetts community of Lawrence, in which one high school sophomore beheaded another and dumped his body on the banks of the Merrimack River.

Doctors reported that "Trevion was suffering severe child physical abuse. The multiple, too numerous to count, patterned injuries throughout Trevion’s body were inflicted with sufficient force to break the skin."
They noted the boy was "also the victim of severe malnutrition."

44-year-old Etter Hughes and 47-year-old Mary Martinez are charged in connection with the death of 7-year-old Trevion Winningham, who died in the hospital.
