☝️In the previous verse (1 Peter 5:6), Peter commands us to humble ourselves before the Lord.

🙌So casting our worries on Him is a way of humbling ourselves before God.

❤️His unwavering love and grace are the main reasons we need to cast our cares on Him. God does not want us to carry the burden ourselves.He wants to help and sustain us through the trials of this world🙏.

It turns out that money does not make people happy, nor does your station or rank. It is mostly relationships and the connections you forge that leads to the most contented people. Whether these are in the form of friendships, book clubs, romantic attachments, church groups, sports partners or co-workers, the people with the strongest social bonds and connections in their 50s, were in the best shape in their 80s.

A longitudinal survey has been examining happiness since the 1930s and after decades of research, the results have been published in a new book. Turns out that it's not money but social connection that can lead to the greatest happiness.
