My time this month at Lehman College affirmed something I’ve learned again and again: great things truly start in little rooms. We talked about Hip Hop Education, Learning Laboratories, and the ways our broken pieces become curriculum. What I witnessed was hope-teachers and future educators hungry to build classrooms that breathe, class that affirm culture, classrooms that see children as whole. Grateful for the conversation, the questions, and the shared commitment to the work ahead.
