AFTER READING THE LETTER I FOUND IN MY MAILBOX, I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE POLICEโWHAT IT CONTAINED HORRIFIED ME.
To begin with, I'd like to mention that this lady living next door is seriously odd. Sheโs around 65 and lives alone. She almost never leaves her house unless she absolutely has to.
A few times, I tried to strike up a conversation with her, but she always found a way to dodge it.
One day, I was checking my mail, and without even looking at the name, I opened a letter. (Turns out it was meant for that same elderly neighbor, but the mail carrier mixed up our mailboxes).
Inside was a handwritten letter, and as soon as I read the opening line, I immediately reached for my phone to call the police. The letter started with:
โMOM! JUST KNOW THAT EVERYONEโS LYING AND IโM ALIVE! BUT WHATEVER HAPPENS, DONโT GO TO โฌ๏ธ
