NYC is trying to eliminate subscription traps.

The Department of Consumer and Worker Protection in New York City under commissioner Sam Levine is proposing a rule that says a subscription needs to be as easy to cancel as it is to sign up. This could impact everyone in the country.

The rule is open to public comment until May 8th at: rules.cityofnewyork.us
