We just want to let you know that 'Twitches' turned 20 this month! šŸ„¹šŸŒ™āœØā˜€ļø

Premiering on October 14, 2005, the film was many young Black girlsā€™ first glimpse of themselves in the genre. It also reminded us that sisterhood (literally) comes before anything elseā€”a lesson that still sticks with us today.

We donā€™t know if Tia and Tamera realized just how strong a cultural hold this movie would have two decades later, but itā€™ll forever be one of our favorites.

Cā€™mon, Madam Presidents! šŸ‘šŸ¾

Florida A&M University continues to make history. For the first time ever, two women are holding the SGA President and Vice President titles respectively.

President Zayla Bryant, a business administration major, and Kennedy Williams, on the History Pre-Law track, are leading the charge at FAMU with purpose while championing sisterhood in the process.

Elected back in February, the two were officially inaugurated in September, marking a milestone in the schoolā€™s 138-year legacy. Zayla and Kennedy have previously served within SGA and are now carrying that same passion into their new roles for the 2025ā€“2026 academic year.
