Monkey see monkey do. Big DK grabs elite. I really liked playing him. Three different spikes, giant punch, and great grab game. I abused super armor to an unhealthy degree. Back air, up air, dash attack, and grounded up B were my bread. I didn't grab as much as I should or down B, but we got the job done.

Will play for fun. 9/10

Weegee finally plunges into elite.

I never learned how to do the 0 to death, but his dash attack and down B (cyclone?) were the stars of the show, in my opinion. Occasionally I'd get the up B punch at random times. His recovery was a little weak because it had very little lateral movement, but I made it work with side B. Overall, fun character. Will play for fun

The doctor is in the house!

Dr. Mario is a pretty fun character. Pill helped a lot of conditioning and spacing. It allowed for some quick follow up grabs or combos. Ledge trumping with cape was useful and cape overall helped me win some last hit situations. Down B (his whirlwind move) was by far his best and most useful move. I abused it to victory more times than not. Combined with some good F smashes, I def took lots of early stocks. His worst move is for sure Up B with practically no vertical recovery. I lost so many games just because I couldn't recover to ledge.

Overall, fun character but not my go-to simply based on his poor recovery. 6/10

Greninja hops into elite. He's definitely a fun character and probably underrepresented. His movement is really good with a lot of hit and run tactics. Up air is a great combo sequence with up smash, forward air, and side B as kill confirms. He has a very good recovery and mix up game, especially with neutral B poking at people and stalling mid air. Overall 8/10. Will play again. Maybe in a competitive environment

Snake explodes into Elite. He is a very good character with all his grenades, missiles, and projectiles in general. I can understand why people pick him up. Dash attack was super useful, as was spamming grenades. C4 was key in getting people when they weren't paying attention. His recovery is his only downfall in my opinion. Slow, hard to control, not much horizontal movement, and exploitable. Overall 8/10. Will play for fun

He's got a lot of good moves. I totally see why he's a top pick. Grab -> down bury -> up air is as solid as pb&j. All the right coverage. Gyro is the best item in the game. So versatile and hard for opponents to deal with. Both lasers covered a lot of ground and helped anti-camp the campers. Overall 8/10. I still struggled with recovery sometimes and couldn't do any fun gyro combos. Will play very occasionally for fun.

Roy enters Elite.
He's just an ok character. I don't totally get the hype. Much of his moveset is identical to marth and lucina but with a worse recovery. He's fast and strong, ill give him that. Overall 4/10 would much rather play a different swordie with a better recovery.

Been a while. Got the carnivorous flower in. Overall, he's pretty fun. His spike ball was really good for sniping off stage. Poison was my favorite move just because it did a good amount of damage with little effort. Down B (extended neck move) was really good, but I had trouble controlling the direction. Nair was his best move. Multi-hit, little end lag and pretty good out of shield option. 6/10. Will play for fun, but not too seriously!

One Shoto down!
Ryu is really fun, but I'm just an average shoto player. I learned how to do some of his inputs which helped a lot, but I'm still a little inconsistent with them. Ryu has really good priority in his moves, especially Side B (not looking up how to spell the name lol). It def got me a lot of kills and damage, but I overused it so sometimes my opponent caught on. Haduken was good when people tried to camp me. Allowed me to close the gap. Got the footsie down. 8/10 will play for fun.

Bowser Jr joins the squad. I liked playing him. Canon ball was a good conditioning tool and it's speed can be changed to mix up people. The cart was a great kill and movement option..allowed me get away easily and attack when needed. The little Koopa was often a menace because people didn't know how to play around it. Up tilt wasn't very good if you're not facing the opponent. Overall, 8/10 enjoyed this character. Will play for fun.

Dog and bird are in elite. DH is a pretty cool character. Can is wacky, and clay pigeon is pretty good at conditioning. Gunner was my favorite tool because it felt like Zelda's Knight a bit. All 3 make it really hard to get in on DH. Up air was so good with its long multi hit and combo potential. By far his worst move is up B because it's slow with no hit box and easily gimpable. Overall 8/10. Would play for fun, maybe in a CB a little.
