I sacrificed my youth to raise my daughter after becoming a single mother at 17. But 18 years later, on the night of her graduation, her absent biological father appeared with a warning: “YOU HAVE FIVE MINUTES TO TELL HER THE TRUTH, OR I WILL...”
I was attending high school when I learned I was pregnant. Kalen was my first great love, and I naively believed we would stay together for the rest of our lives.
Everything changed when he discovered I was carrying his child.
Kalen vanished.
I went looking for him at his house and encountered his father, who was packing their belongings. The family had already put the property on the market.

Gabriella immediately asked me who the man was.
“Honey... he’s Kalen. YOUR BIOLOGICAL FATHER,” I replied as my lips quivered uncontrollably.
She froze where she stood.
Kalen smiled at her.
“Hello, sweetheart. I’m your biological father. I’m sorry it has taken so long for us to meet, but there was A REASON—and IT WASN’T MY FAULT!”
Then he stared straight into my eyes.
“So, will you tell her, or do you want me to? You have five minutes to tell her THE TRUTH, or I will!”
And that's when I realized that the SECRET I thought I'd buried forever had finally caught up with me. Few minutes read...
