First day back to school today, after the holidays!

I got a comment on my last reel telling me to try "Time-in" instead of "Time-out" for my toddler's tantrums.

Now, even though I've been using Time-outs very successfully for my children, I thought, why not try something new and just see if it works?

If it doesn't work, I'll stick with what I know does work.
If it does work, then that's fantastic! There's always room for improvement and new knowledge.

So I tried it, and I was actually very impressed! I think Hudson liked it as well 😊

I understand that sometimes it can be confusing to know when to use timeouts and when not to use them.

The main thing to remember is that timeout should not be used as the form of discipline.
It is simply just your child taking a break from what's going on around them. Taking some time to cool down and breathe for a minute. Then, we can come together and find a solution! 😃

Ok, this was so much fun to film, but my goodness, it's hard to fit all of our morning in a minute and a half 😅

Mondays are my "mom days", and that means I get a whole day to recover from the week/weekend and reset for the next week/weekend!
I call them "mom days" because it's a day for me to focus on my kids, my home, our lives, and our schedule.
