I’ve been sober for 7 years today.
My parents took the picture of me on the left before I did the last drugs I had in the bathroom of a restaurant in Columbus, Ohio.
As they were driving me to the airport my dad turned and looked at me and asked “do you want to be buried or cremated?”
I knew in that moment I had arrived.. I was in the lowest place in my life and my family was mourning my death while I was still alive.
On 2/21/2018 I walked into the 6 and final treatment center I’d ever go to.
Little did I know that 7 years later my life would be radically different and dedicated to helping families like mine and individuals just like me find the same freedom I did when I went into that rehab.
Thank God for the opportunity to live life the way I do today.

Scarface, born in 2007, was one of the most legendary lions to ever roam Africa’s Maasai Mara. Instantly recognizable by the deep scar over his right eye—a battle wound that earned him his name—he became a symbol of power, resilience, and dominance.
As the leader of the Marsh Pride, Scarface and his brothers took control of vast territories, ruling with unmatched ferocity. According to reports and local lore, he killed over 400 hyenas and defeated 130 rival male lions in his lifetime, a testament to his fighting prowess. His reign lasted far longer than most male lions, who are often dethroned by younger challengers within a few years.
But Scarface wasn’t just a warrior—he was also a survivor. He endured countless battles, recovered from serious wounds, and even survived a spear attack by local herders. Unlike many lions, he lived to an astonishing 14 years, dying peacefully in 2021 from natural causes—an incredibly rare fate for a wild male lion.
His legacy lives on, not only in the tales of those who witnessed his rule but also in documentaries and photographs that immortalized his legend. Scarface wasn’t just a lion—he was the king of kings.

A great woman erased from history by idiots.
The branding of the syrup was a tribute to this woman’s gifts and talents. Now future generations will not even know this beautiful woman existed. What a shame. The world knew her as “Aunt Jemima”, but her given name was Nancy Green and she was a true American success story. She was born a slave in 1834 Montgomery County, KY. and became a wealthy superstar in the advertising world, as its first living trademark. Green was 56 years old when she was selected as spokesperson for a new ready-mixed, self-rising pancake flour and made her debut in 1893 at a fair and exposition in Chicago. She demonstrated the pancake mix served thousands of pancakes, and became an immediate star. She was a good storyteller, her personality was warm and appealing, and her showmanship was exceptional.

Imagine being 19 years old, pregnant, and stranded in the middle of the ocean—with your ship captain husband gravely ill. That was the reality for Mary Ann Brown Patten, the first woman to command an American merchant ship in the 19th century.
Born on April 6, 1837, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, Mary Ann married Joshua Adams Patten, a young captain of the clipper ship Neptune’s Car, at just 16. Unlike many women of her time, she learned navigation, chart reading, and ship management—a decision that would soon save her life.
In 1856, during a 123-day voyage from New York to San Francisco, her husband fell critically ill with tuberculosis, leaving him bedridden. The first mate was dismissed for neglecting his duties, and the second mate lacked experience. With no other option, Mary Ann took command of the ship.
For 56 days, she navigated through violent storms, prevented a near mutiny, and safely led the ship to San Francisco, all while caring for her dying husband. Her navigation skills, leadership, and sheer determination made her a legend in maritime history.
Although celebrated for her bravery, Mary Ann received no official recognition at the time. She later contracted tuberculosis, possibly from caring for her husband, and died at age 25 in 1861.
Today, she is honored as a pioneer who defied gender roles and proved that leadership knows no gender. 💪⚓

How stupid do you have to be to not understand that if dozens and DOZENS of fire hydrants are open and running at the same time that water pressure will be lost? 🤷🏿
