Carolyn Fox Licensed RE Salesperson

Carolyn Fox Licensed RE Salesperson Concierge Manhattan Lic. Assoc. Real Estate Broker + 10 years. Growing up in Little Rhody wasn’t particularly tough; growing up in my family was.

Helping families buy and sell apartments/townhomes @ the best price with the least amount of stress. “Who am I?” “I don’t know, who are you?” “What are you looking at?”

That’s a glimpse of conversation in Providence, RI, the smallest state in the Union. I learned early on to never talk to strangers, or if I had to, to respond to their questions with more questions. As the middle child of strict p

arents, my default questions were “Why” or “Why not?”—not exactly ideal in a household that prized obedience and etiquette. Being a middle child, I learned what not to do from my older sibling and taught my younger sibling how it should be done. These early survival skills became my greatest assets. I observed keenly, asked a lot of questions, and consistently pushed myself to stand out. I’m a classic overachiever—probably because I’m left-handed. By age 14, I was done with conformity. I swapped my classical piano, ballet, and tennis matches for rock 'n' roll, theater, and the thrill of prepubescent boys. I was destined to be a star—and I became one, a radio star. While studying history and semiotics (what’s that?) at Brown University, I moonlighted at radio stations across New England. My grandmother helped me buy my first car, a Datsun 210 MPG (stick shift, of course), for my overnight shifts in Boston. By 8 am, I’d be back in class, pulling apart “The Best and the Brightest” and conjugating verbs. I managed to repay Grandma eventually. Hanging out with David Lee Roth, Joe Walsh, and Bruce Springsteen was exciting, but my maternal instincts kicked in. I married two brilliant men named Bob (not simultaneously), and while raising kids was intense, my children and I prevailed despite the end of both marriages. After over 25 years as a celebrated radio host, I wondered if there was more to life than on-air pranks. I transitioned into NYC residential real estate, combining my love for design, sales, and investing. Manhattan real estate is tough, but its challenges make the rewards sweeter. By synthesizing my skills into one business, I got to learn about every neighborhood and building in NYC. For the past decade, I’ve helped families with real estate transactions, mastering the art of buying and selling properties at the best prices. I’m not a fit for every family, and that’s fine. Working with kind, respectful, and ethical clients makes the process joyful. I’m grateful to help Manhattan homeowners move seamlessly with over 10 years of experience.

I can do that! Let’s go!

The city will reimburse some landlords up to $50,000 to repair and rent out “warehoused” apartments. Just one property owner applied, and didn't follow through.
