Remembering an amazing a prolific career this man had! Thank you Quincy Jones for your gift to the world. I’ll never forget the time I got to meet him at the Standard Hotel when Alex Lauterstein was playing. I happened to have “The Dude” on my phone do Alex could plug into the system and play “Ai No Corrida” to acknowledge his presence. Quincy is always on a playlist with me!

Thank you all my friends and family for taking time to send me your well-wishes for my birthday. Certainly, this one is joyous, but the first without my dad. Growing up, one doesn’t think about these type of milestones so it’s a weird feeling. But we must dwell on the blessings we do have. My mom is healthy and my sister and hers are doing great. I pray all of my friends and family take care of themselves and find joy every day. Now carry on!
