Music was always there. 🎶

Growing up in a West Indian household, music wasn’t just something you listened to. It was part of everyday life. Cooking, cleaning, family gatherings… there was always a soundtrack.

Watching his father carefully pick records for parties, simply because he loved music, left an impression.

But one moment changed everything.

Hearing Jumma Chumma from Hum at a party and seeing everyone singing, dancing, and having a great time made him realize just how powerful music could be.

Sometimes, your path starts with simply watching someone you love do what they love. ❤️🎶

When you spend so much time with “Edit” that your family starts thinking he’s your boyfriend.

In this throwback story, Lakshmee shares how often she had to turn down parties, trips, church, and family gatherings because she had to edit.

And honestly… Edit was demanding.

But behind the joke was the reality of building something from the ground up, giving every story the time and dedication it deserved.

Some things look like obsession from the outside. Sometimes, they’re just dedication.
