My son always gets excited to work on stuff with me or mom around the house. He’s been helping with cooking, cleaning, building, fixing etc… since he was 2.

And I love that he loves it cause he gains so much out of it.

He becomes more handy and independent as he picks up skills.

Learns what it means to be a team player. When all hands are on deck, projects move faster and smoother.

Gains ownership and is less entitled. Things don’t just magically show up or go away. Everything that we have he’s had a hand in building, fixing, cleaning, or tearing down.

A lot of times, as parents, we look for fun ways to bond with our kids. Doing projects with them is one of the best ways. Plus it’s free labor 🤣.

Two retired Asian gang idiots discuss the unglorified 1990s lifestyle of bangin in the San Gabriel Valley. Luckily, a large number of old school Asian knuckleheads graduated themselves into legitimate entrepreneurship in the modern era, and are doing very well today, much to the relief of their own 626 communities they once terrorized. It’s a known fact that Asian homes get strategically targeted for burglary but don’t forget who the plunder pioneers were before the other races caught on. Thankfully, there’s a little less internal wa-chingin in the wild west that we can now shift into defensive mode for our precious, innocent, tax-evading aunties and uncles. The 90s were a wild time, and life ain’t perfect today but at least you can eat at JJ’s Cafe without having to look up every time the doors go ding. ld man still got it!

As I’ve gotten older, my goals have changed. I’ll be turning 42 this year. My days of deadlifting 600lbs again might be behind me but if I can stay injury free, maintain a 6 pack, and still lift heavy from time to time, that’s a huge win for me.
