It retains its original sheet metal, trim tags, engine, transmission, rear end, and much more. The car underwent a full rotisserie restoration by Best of Show Auto Restoration in 2000, with a detailed body-off refresh by Don Mertz in 2015 — and it still shows like it was just done. The L34 396ci V8 (350hp) is the original, matching-numbers engine, and it runs like a dream. Backed by its original Turbo 400 transmission and 3.31 limited-slip rear, this Chevelle is factory correct down to the restored engine bay with assembly markings and a Delco Energizer battery. It’s equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, F41 suspension, and a cowl induction hood. The dual exhaust with chrome tips provides that unmistakable muscle car growl. 🔥 Inside, the black bucket seat interior is in exceptional condition, believed to retain most of its original components including the SS dash and carpeting.
