My Dear Prospective “Likers”!
Yep, I’m new to Facebook. And, I need a little help from my Friends (and Family)! (Kindly overlook my Facebook embarrassments and blunders of commission or omission: I’m learning by doing…and would be delighted to receive your direction, critiques and tutorials.)
A few weeks ago, I published this page for my new "Land Grant's GrowthRoots" (LGGR) Knowledge-Publishing initiative. (As you can see, it’s still very-much a work in progress! At the moment, you can find the richest information about LGGR in—yes!—Info.)
I intend to use this FB Page as the basis for much of LGGR’s initial social-media marketing. Sure, I’ll have to get better first…
LGGR is an entrepreneurial “pivot” for GrowthRoots. Our provisional tagline is “ICT News, Views, Tools & How-To For TREE.” ICT is Information & Communication Technology and TREE is Technology-Rich Economic Empowerment. With LGGR, I’m returning to my writer/journalist/publisher roots. Our audience for LGGR is hyperlocal micro-enterprises and EDOs (Economic Development Organizations) at the community/commercial grassroots.
Now—if you’d like—here’s how you can help me.
I’m starting that great push upward for page “friend” enrollment. To start, my milestones are very, very modest. (Risible, even! Gotta start somewhere…)
First, I need just FIVE Friends to like this "Land Grant's GrowthRoots" page from their Profiles. (This enables me to automatically display my GrowthRoots blog—publishing target: three days a week—on both my Page and Profile “walls” via the NetworkedBlogs system.)
Second, I need TWENTY-FIVE Page “likers” to enable me to capture a unique user-name for my Page URL. (This is all cumulative: so, in actuality, that’s 20 more.) Unsurprisingly, our user-name will be "Land Grant's GrowthRoots."
So, please just “Like” this LGGR Page. Easy as that.
You’re the best!
LAND
