Opting into the origin energy everyday rewards plan is MORE EXPENSIVE than if you don't (in my area). The Origin everyday rewards plan has higher rates than the variable plan, and costs $125 more per year in my area. The value I could receive for electricity points and the sign up bonus is less than half of this. This is an insult to customers. It should be improved or removed entirely.

I think my card is dodgy 😂 I have had everyday rewards for years and only ever get $150 approx for Christmas…even though I’m spending at LEAST $300/week for a family of 5. How does that work!? I also shop at Big W and scan my card wherever I can! My mother has just her and my dad and hardly buys anything at the shop…she somehow receives over $300 in Christmas Savings each year! Please explain!?

Edit: Yes 🙌 I pay for the yearly subscription and boost what I can.

I’m so stressed! I saved all year and had $500 worth of everyday rewards points for Xmas and linnked my frequent flyers and it ALL transferred over. Now I have no money to buy the kids Xmas presents and Xmas food! I’ve been saving ALL year for this! This has been my goal! I’ve rang both companies and back n forth and no one is helping me and it’s getting closer to end of Xmas points time and I’m so stressed!! What do I do!!! Please help!!!!! I wanna cry! My anxiety!
Please don’t tell me I have had all year to buy presents , I literally live down to the cent every week, living is expensive! My partner can’t work, we r waiting on work cover and he doesn’t qualify for Centrelink so times have been very hard for us! I’m doing my absolute best!
