সিলেট শহরের একমন একপ্রাণবন্ধুরা, সকাল থেকে রাত অবধি আড্ডায় নাটকে গানে রাজনীতিতে অন্তপ্রাণ বন্ধুরা কালের স্রোতে দেশ ছাড়িয়ে নয়া ভূমিতে ব‍্যস্ততার ভেলায় ভাসতে ভাসতে যেনো কোন এক সুদূরের গল্পকথার চরিত্র হয়ে হারিয়ে গিয়ে, সৌভাগ‍্যক্রমে হঠাৎ করে মিলিত হলাম । টেবিলজুড়ে ভালোবাসাবাসিতে মেতে উঠলাম পুরোনো দিনের মতো।

Friends from Sylhet — inseparable in those days, from morning till night, wrapped up in adda, theatre, songs, and politics.
Then life carried us away — across time, across borders, each swept into the currents of new lands and busy lives, like characters fading from some long-forgotten tale.
And yet, by some stroke of luck, we found each other again. Around the table, love and laughter flowed — just like the old days.

একজন আহত নারী পড়ে আছেন ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের সীমান্তের মাঝখানে — নামহীন, জাতিহীন, পরিত্যক্ত।
সীমান্তরক্ষীরা যখন তাঁর পরিচয় নিয়ে বিতর্কে মেতে ওঠে, রাজনীতিবিদরা দায় এড়াতে ব্যস্ত, আর মিডিয়া তাঁর যন্ত্রণাকে এক ‘লাইভ শো’-তে পরিণত করে — তখন একটাই প্রশ্ন জাগে:
কে তাঁকে আমাদের একজন বলে স্বীকার করবে? একজন মানুষ হিসেবে?
