LOOK: A certain Abcde Aeiou Mendoza, who posted a photo of his IDs online to prove that his name is real, amuses netizens.

Mendoza is now into selling of various items online. He says many of his customers are asking him if his account is authentic or not.

“Hindi po addict ang parents ko and higit sa lahat, ‘di din po ako fake and scammer,” Mendoza writes on a Facebook post.

The 18-year-old incoming college student from Mandaluyong adds he’s been used to people asking why his name is like that.

His first name is composed of the first five letters of the Roman alphabet, while the second are made of vowels.

“Sagot ko lang po, ‘yan ang ipinangalan sa akin ng aking mga magulang and I’m happy for that,” Mendoza tells CNN Philippines.

He also says when he asked his parents why he was named Abcde Aeiou, they said they just want his name to be unique.

Mendoza has no plans of changing his name, no matter how many people would make fun of it or even question his identity.

“Ang mahalaga, kahit anong pangalan mo, basta’t kaya mo at kaya nilang bigkasin ito,” Mendoza adds.
