Faliro House was founded in 2008 and it has since developed, produced and co-produced more than fifty films. Over the years Faliro House has established various strategic partnerships, including a development deal with FilmNation Entertainment, which is entering its seventh year. Faliro House co-developed and produced Richard Linklater’s Before Midnight, shot entirely in Greece. In 2017 Faliro House serviced Park Chan Wook’s TV series The Little Drummer Girl, a BBC & AMC co-production shot in Athens and surrounding areas. In 2019 the company serviced the thriller Born to Be Murdered, directed by Ferdinando Cito Filomarino and produced by Luca Guadagnino.

Stereophonic, written by David Adjmi, premiered at Playwrights Horizons in 2023 and went on to make history in 2024 as the most Tony-nominated play of all time, with 13 nominations and five wins, before transferring to Broadway.

Since closing its extended Broadway run in early 2025, the production has been seen in London’s West End and is now reaching audiences across the US on tour.

Featuring evocative original music and an immersive look at the pressures of artistic creation, Stereophonic—a play centered on a band inside a recording studio during the making of an album—explores collaboration, control, and the fragile dynamics of creative work.

The North American restoration premiere of Michael Cacoyannis’s film Attila ’74 (1975) will be presented at MoMA on Friday, January 30 at 7 p.m.and Sunday, February 1 at 6:30pm as part of To Save and Project: The 22nd MoMA International Festival of Film Preservation.

The first screening will be introduced by acclaimed historian and author Mark Mazower.

Attila ’74 is a gripping eyewitness account of the invasion of Cacoyannis’s native Cyprus in the summer of 1974. The film is presented as part of To Save and Project, which altogether includes 75 newly preserved features and shorts from more than 20 countries that celebrate the technology of film preservation and its invaluable impact on the legacy of cinema.

The film’s complete restoration was made possible with the support of Faliro House Productions.
