Trust Records is proud to present the first studio recording of legendary Washington D.C. hardcore punk outfit, Bad Brains, now officially available for PREORDER for the very first time in any format.

Are You Ready: The First Studio Recording (Inner Ear – March 1979) is the raw, blistering calling card that announced the band’s arrival on the scene…

Mixed by Ian MacKaye in 2026 and mastered by Pete Lyman at Infrasonic, the release features Darryl Jenifer’s “duct-tape logo” both on the cover and on the Side-B etching. Layout and design was done by Kill Your Idols Studio and the package includes liner notes by Alec MacKaye plus a double-sided insert with rarely seen images from the Bad Brains archive.
